Trouble Junction at Seventeen To

Things are getting somewhat closer to home for those cogs in the machine

[Washington, DC’s] Metrorail system experienced two shutdowns over the weekend which stranded passengers on all five lines when controllers were unable to keep track of trains, a spokeswoman said.  The first disruption began after 2 p.m. Saturday when Metrorail’s Operations Control Center reported that the system for monitoring trains was not working. The second shutdown occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday and lasted until about 1 a.m.  Officials don’t know what caused the malfunction, which they described as a computer problem they are trying to resolve.

Lemme give ya a hint: try spelling Tenxuts backwards.  This is called blowback in the intell business, so get used to it.
